「このカメラはあのカメラほど高くはない」
比較のポイントの一つは原級-比較級-最上級の書き換えができるようになることです。
比較級にいつも more を用いる人は、less を用いることもあることを頭に入れておきましょう。
not so 〜 as …＝not as 〜 as …＝less 原級 than …
「…ほど〜ない」
必ず比べるものの間には差が出ます。
as 〜 as … だからと言って「同じくらい〜ない」と、決してしないようにしてください。
では「同様に〜ない」と言いたいときはどうするのでしょうか？
no more 〜 than … などの表現を使えばいいのです。
