boots は通例複数形で用います。
片方の場合は、a boot になります。
対の形をしたものは a pair of 〜で数えます。
ブーツが２足なら、two pairs of boots になります。
足のくるぶしより上なら boots
足のくるぶしより下なら shoes
例えば「はさみ」の単数、複数に注意。
○ These scissors are sharp.
○ This pair of scissors is sharp.
× This scissors is sharp.
常に複数のものをまとめて覚える！
pants「ズボン」
trousers「ズボン」
