☆不定詞-002
●２文が同じ意味になるように（ ）内に適語を入れよ。
002.He hoped to attend the meeting, but he could not.
= He hoped ( to )( have )( attended ) the meeting.
「彼は会議に出席したかったのだが、できなかった」
完了不定詞を覚えましょう。
to have p.p.「〜したこと、してしまったこと」
完了や過去の訳をしたいときに使います。
述語動詞よりも以前のこと（または完了）を表します。
前後の動詞の時制が同じときには完了不定詞にはなりません。
前後の動詞の時制が違うときに完了不定詞にします。
前後の動詞の時制に注意！
It is said that he is a great baseball player.
= He is said to be a great baseball player.
「彼は偉大な野球選手だと言われている」
It is said that he was a great baseball player.
= He is said to have been a great baseball player.
「彼は偉大な野球選手だったと言われている」
It was said that he was a great baseball player.
= He is said to be a great baseball player.
「彼は偉大な野球選手だと言われていた」
また特定の動詞と結びついて
wanted to have p.p.「〜したかったのだが」 （できなかった）
intended to have p.p.「〜するつもりだったのだが」 （できなかった）
= meant to have p.p.「〜するつもりだったのだが」 （できなかった）
という意味になることがあります。
